Speeding

  • Records actual speed using smartphone GPS

  • Compares to actual posted limits by location

  • Calculates max and average speeds over limit 

  • Adjusts score for time and amount over the limit

  • Reduces score for speeding through traffic lights 

  • Detects rolling stops

Brake &
Accel

  • Detects hard brake or acceleration near traffic signal

  • Hard braking could result in rear-end collision or running of red light

  • Accelerating can mean a light was actually run
